How it works
The principle inside every Final loudspeaker: an ultra-thin film, moved by an electric field across its entire surface.
Explore01 / The electrostatic principle
A thin, charged diaphragm sits between two perforated stators. The music signal changes the electric field between the stators; the field moves the film, and the film moves the air.

Look a little closer
Two perforated stators sit either side of an ultra-thin diaphragm. With no cabinet around it, the open panel radiates to the front and the rear, and voices and instruments keep their natural character.
The music signal drives the two stators. Their field moves the diaphragm evenly across its whole surface, rather than pushing it from a single point.
An exceptionally light film is the only moving part. It starts and stops with the music, so the beginning of a note and the smallest detail remain intact.

02 / Two ways to move air
Both conventional and electrostatic loudspeakers turn an electrical signal into moving air. They take very different routes to get there.
03 / The system around it
Every Final is built on the same electrostatic principle. The Final 1300, Final 1500 and Final 1700 are Ready to Play: start with a complete system, the Final 1570 or Final 1770. The Final 3200, Final 3300 and Final 3900 are Made to be Configured, with the amplifier and bass you choose.
Ready to Play · Integrated bass and amplification
Bass, amplification and digital signal processing are integrated. Connect a streamer or the source you enjoy; your Final dealer delivers, installs and tunes it at home.

Final 1550 and Final 1750

Ready to Play
A slender electrostatic panel for your own amplifier, on its base or on the wall, with one or two external bass units for the lowest notes.
Final 1300, Final 1500 and Final 1700

Made to be Configured
A single electrostatic panel reproduces the full musical range. Connect the amplifier you choose, and add external bass units if you wish.

04 / Questions
Choosing a system starts with a few practical questions. Your dealer will help you with the rest during a listening session.
A passive loudspeaker is driven by a separate, external amplifier. The full-range Final 3200, Final 3300 and Final 3900 are passive, and so are the Final 1550, the Final 1750 and the panels of the Final 1300, Final 1500 and Final 1700, which take an external bass for the lowest frequencies. The Final 1570 and Final 1770 have amplification built in.
Integrated bass combines the electrostatic panel with a bass loudspeaker in the base, so no external bass is needed. It is available as the Final 1550 and Final 1750, which connect to your own amplifier. Your dealer can tell you which versions are available.
The Final 1570 and Final 1770 have bass, amplification and digital signal processing integrated: a complete system, just add a streamer. The source and volume control are then matched to the specific version with your dealer.
Very likely. A good amplifier of 50 to 150 W per channel is all a Final needs. Bring the make and model to your listening session and your dealer will confirm the pairing; the technical values are in the specifications of each model.
